- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Phenomenal hospital. I visited VSH while on vacation in Raleigh. I took my 6.5 year old dog in after noticing she had a swollen belly, and left with the knowledge that she had a large liver tumor. Dr. Crockett relayed the information in as kind, professional and compassionate a way as possible. Her technician Aubrey was equally as lovely, and even got me to laugh through my tears. What was truly exceptional was that they called to check up on Cherry two days later (coincidentally a few moments after she had woken up from surgery back in my hometown of Charlotte, where they had successfully removed the entire tumor). I am not a routine client of theirs, but they genuinely cared about my dog's wellbeing not only while she was in hospital, but after she had left. Fantastic veterinary care, fantastic people.
