Customer Reviews about Saving Lives Spay Neuter Clinic

  • I love my fur-babies and always get nervous when it is time to spay/neuter. If you don't want to read the whole review know that this is a great spot to get spayed/neutered. For those like myself that read all the reviews to see if this place can be trusted with the procedure continue to read below! Even though I feel it's a necessary step to keep them healthy it is surgery so you never know what will happen. Every person I dealt with was unbelievably professional and friendly. It takes a little coordinating and time to set up the appointment (I called and sent some emails back and forth. They typically replied within a day or two. I ended up having to reschedule once due to some stomach issues my dog had a the week up to the surgery). The day of the surgery I dropped my dog off for spaying and there were two women working the front desk and at least 10 people with animals to drop off. They worked fast, but made each person feel comfortable and answered any questions calmly. They made sure to ask important questions that could affect the surgery (when did they last eat, are they on medication, any health changes recently, etc....). To me this shows they go the extra step and really care for the animal and want to really limit any complications. Pickup was just as easy and every dog I saw walked out of the facility without any issues. I have 3 dogs and my 3rd was the only one I had spayed here (I relocated from another state). The best experience out of the 3. Its now day 5 after the surgery - her incision is tiny, no swelling, no tenderness, no inflammation. She has wanted to run around and play since day 3 and keeping her quiet is the only challenge I have so far. She hasn't licked or touched the incision spot at all. They used internal sutures and surgical glue on the outside skin. Maybe that helped with the normal licking and biting that some animals do as they heal? Either way, it's a great facility to take your pet to spay and neuter. If they ever opened up a full vet clinic I would absolutely take my pets to them full time.

Scheduled an appointment, and when I arrived the doors were locked and lights were out. The nice people next door said Saving Lives left a note saying surgeries were canceled. Unfourtantly people with appointments didn't get the same courtesy, and I drove all the way out here for nothing, and can't adopt out this kitten. Thanks guys. EDIT: Saving lives had since contacted me, and apologized for the cancellation. (Also, the lil kitten was adopted, YAY!)
